Sienna stared straight ahead as though she didn't even hear Sprite.

"Sienna?" Twilight said, standing up.

Viola broke into tears. Aaron licked her sympathetically. "I'm sorry, dear," he whispered in her ear. "You know it had to be done." Viola wrenched herself away from him.
"No, it didn't!" she screeched, her ears laid back against her head.
"The foal was dying! You put the poor child out of her pain!"
"It was your fault she was sick, anyway!" Viola was sobbing crazily now.
"It was not!" Aaron roared. "I never told you to keep her in these filthy, barbarian conditions! That was your choice!"
"Well, I didn't know how to do it!" Viola crumpled to the ground, a watery heap.
"Hmph." Aaron scowled and trotted away, heading for Flip. He wanted to ask him something, and if not Flip, then certainly Holly.
