I can just imagine that!
Bella's legs buckled as a wolf crept up from behind and pounced like a lion, fumbling for balance on her back and raking it's claws all over her. The Percheron rammed it off and sent it rolling. It snarled and petulantly hissed before retreating with the rest of the pack, dragging Storm's limp body along the ground back to their home.
The gray Percheron walked with his high-stepping gait to Bella, the dappling of white and silver on his pelt radiant under the moonlight and against the sooty gray. "Are you all right, my lady?" he asked as he helped her to her feet. Then, seeing Ace, he backed away from Bella slightly as to not cause trouble. Bella smiled, "I'm all right; thanks for your help, Ace, and...?" "Roy," he replied, shifting his ivory forelock out of his eyes with the sway of his neck.
Yowling and whining sounded nearby as two wolves ran fleeing into the forest. "And STAY OUT!" a mare retorted after them, snorting lightly and sweeping her short mane back. She was a deep, dark chocolate brown with hues of chestnut on her snout, framing her eyes, and blazes of rich copper on her chest. The stout little mare was beautiful, and she had peculiarly long ears and a very short mane that collected in a wild forelock on her forehead.
