Adelphie tried to stand, her long legs wobbling beneath her frail weight. She tried a few times to stand and then finally made it, her nose stretching for Shadow's teats. Once she had reached them, she bit down a few times too hard, and then got the hang of it and nursed, her tail wagging in delight.

Flip coughed and sobered. "Anyway, Aaron had come to me with a special request. He said that some of the members of the herd were getting uneasy... they wanted a better ruling system."
