"Layaw?" Gemma swiveled her ears towards the voice, hearing it in a myriad of ways--distance, tone, volume. With a whinny, she trotted towards the noise, carefully placing her front hooves. She had learned to touch the ground gently, delicately, test the footing and know where she could safely place her feet. "Layaw, I'm cummin!"
