Mohawk and leg feathers?

This was in with a bunch of Easter Egger chicks I picked up awhile back. Does anyone have any idea what it is? Barn yard mix?

Yep, that's a mutt. Five toes on at least one foot coupled with a crest and feathered legs suggests Silkie influence. Could be another breed with the same traits, but Silkies are the most common to show like this in hybrid offspring. I have a good lot of them running around my bantam coop.

Thanks for the reply. I spoke with the woman I got them from and she told me that she has some polish on the property, too, so it's probably a result of one of them.

It's either a Silkie or Sultan mix.

Polish would account for the crest, but not the feathered legs and five toes. I'm thinking silkie or sultan also.

Thanks for the help! I wound up with a silkie polish mix when I picked up 3 silkies, too. I guess it's a good thing that I like the mixed breeds
