Moisture barriers FYI

I just found this article in my over research mode and makes sense in regards to a structure that is ventilated and no insulation.

That is very interesting. I notice it talks about summertime, but I wonder if the same patterns happen in winter too?
Good thought. Building this coop of mine has been educationally interesting. So much that I find for structural building is related to a residence or even a shed...not the ventilated chicken coop that is just gonna get pooped all over.
 
I'm guessing that having a moisture barrier on the floor of an uninsulated coop would still be ok? I just put FRP down on the floor and around the first foot of the wall on the coop my husband and I are building 😅 It was all free scraps and I figured it would work like vinyl or linoleum.

Is it like fiberglass?
