The top stripe in the second picture is the feed under mold or yeast. It smells disgusting.

I think it's yeast and quite a lot of it, so either it's very hot or it's been left sitting for a while.

Mold would generally be fuzzier and patchier (unless this has been sitting undisturbed for quite a while).

If it smells like beer, it's supposed to.

How long has it been sitting there?

Is this for fermented feed? A water bucket?

It has been there for a while. I made a batch of fermented feed, but forgot that I was gonna be home for the next couple of days, so I let the chickens free range the entire days and didn’t feed it to them. And I kind of forgot about it. Probably 2-3 days, and it has been 95-100 degrees. Not sure what beer smells like😅
