This evening when I went out to check on the 4 week old poults in the outdoor brooder, one was acting odd. I have never seen a poult vomit, but this looked like that was what it was trying to do perhaps.

Any of you all have any idea what is going on?

Info on the poult in question:
-4 weeks old
-Feeding Purina Turkey Starter 30%
-Grit available free choice
-water present at all times
-moved to fresh grass in brooder daily

How's the crop? Last turkey I had that looked like this had a crop blockage that took 3 days to clear.
It ate straw for some reason, & had mass of it.

This one’s crop is bigger than any of the other poults’ crops… I’m nervous of manipulating it so I have only lightly felt it just to compare to others.
I'd check the crop first thing in the morning before it gets a meal, see if it goes down at all.

If the crop is still full, then it's a blockage problem.

I’ll check it again in the morning before feed. I looked just now and the poult is roosting like the rest and it appears the crop has shrunk significantly. Thank you all for your quick responses and help. 🦃 ❤️

Today the poult looks like whatever was bothering it has passed through.

Thanks again everybody, was a little worried there for a minute.
That's good that it has passed by itself.
