SEVERAL OF MY RIR ARE A YEAR OLD SOME OF THEM LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE TRYING TO MOLT DOES ANYBODY KNOW FOR SURE WHEN THEY DO.

The annual molt is anywhere between 16-18 months of age and can last for 10 weeks to 6 months. I have had some that molted at 14 months. Where are you seeing the feather loss at, all over or isolated to certain parts? Molting starts at the head, then to the back, wings, and it finishes at the tail. If they are in fact not molting, it could be a parasite like mites or lice.

SOME ON THE NECK AND CHEST AREA,I OFTEN USE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH IN THEIR FEED.
