Molting a bit too long

Can you borrow a wire dog crate? I would be worried that she will be killed eventually but the roosters or from the feather picking.

I have a little pen right next to their coop that currently has kittens in it. Here's a picture of it from the spring.
do you think I could put her in there? if not I may have some wiring left over from a project I could make her a pen
