My magpie call ducks are currently molting. I haven't gotten any eggs out of them yet this spring so I'm a bit concerned. Everything I have read says that ducks molt after they are done laying for the season but they haven't laid yet. Is it safe to assume we won't be getting eggs from them this year or is it possible that they will start laying after they molt since they didn't lay any before starting to molt?
