Molting chicken died

ALL of my 6 chicken are 2 this year and have been molting. Some of them lose all their feathers at once some loose their feathers gradually. One of them that lost all of it's feathers has been staying in the coup day and night and we put hay around it to keep it warm- it looked fine but then this morning it was dead- should we have done something different? Should I have brought it inside to keep it warm or something?

well if it was that cold yes you should have dome something,either a light they could get under or bring them into the house we have 15 on the porch right now,its a pain but better than dead chickens
