Molting chickens feathers came in very light in color

My BO hens are all molting. The first, Patty, is almost finished. Before the molt, her feathers were the classic, golden/yellow, BO color. Her new feathers came in much lighter, in color. I've never had this happen before. Is it common?

I don't recall my BOs changing color an appreciable amount but I know it is common for adult hens to change a bit after molt.
Some of my black birds tend to get white tipped feathers after their first mold and then more so after each subsequent molt.

A few of mine have changed color slightly with their adult feathers.
