So our chicks are at that age where they're getting big, ugly, and losing all their down 😂
Now I know this is a natural process, every chick goes through it and it's just how it is, but is there ANY way to help their overall level of comfort? Maybe it's just me, but they just seem so antsy and uncomfortable and itchy.

Other than making sure they have great nutrition, I don't know of anything else. It is definitely an uncomfortable time for them!

Yeah I assumed as much, I just feel so bad 😭
They're on chick feed so diet is good, guess they just gotta get through it!

My suggestion is to select an appropriate fruit and chop it, then enjoy it over a bowl of ice cream. It's not going to help them any but it might make you feel better.

You are feeding them properly and I'm sure housing them OK. That's all you can do. They should be feathered out around 4 to 5 weeks of age and will go through two more molts before they reach adult size. They will be fine.
