yeah thats why i love heritage breeds not that production bred stuff at the hatcheries

I started with the hatchery birds, & used only the better ones out of them, mostly went with the less productive ones with larger eggs, & culled the heavy layers.

I just never got the Production Hybrids.

yea for the most part we dont have any hybrids just some production rhode island reds
