molting or mites?

So I thought maybe my chickens were molting since they just turned a year old but I have never seen this before. Also I have four chickens and these are the only two who look like this. I only been a chicken owner for little over a year so if it is mites what is a treatment for it.

to be honest it does look like a molting thing, however its also possible that they are feather plucking each other. if there is blood then that's the case. Depending on what kind of mite depends on what kind of treatment. Lice are yellow bodied things which live in the vent area (usually) and scuttle around the feather shafts, these in great numbers can do big damage . You can get dusting powders for this at vets, pet stores, farm places and equine places.
