We "had" two roosters. We found them new home a month agoDo you have a rooster? Looks like rooster damage, possibly.
A narrative? Hmmm, the white hen has been like this for a couple months. It has not gotten worse nor better since we found a new home for the roosters.A narative might be a nice companion to you fine photos. It would help to round out the limited information we are able to glean from two dimensional pics. Please include your location.
Feather issues can be from a number of causes. Molt usually occurs in fall as the light begins to wane. Your location will help us determine if this is likely molt.
Feather picking is the second most common cause of poor feather quality. Depluming mites are another source of ratty looking feathers.
What exactly are you feeding each day?A narrative? Hmmm, the white hen has been like this for a couple months. It has not gotten worse nor better since we found a new home for the roosters.

We have 8, all different types of hens. The share a new large coop.
Oh today I notice yolk and a couple broken eggs in their egg beds. That is new.
I dont think they are molting and i dont see them attacking her. We did have roosters that were pecking her but they are no longer an issue. I notice another hen have a similar problem with her wing. Is this a parasite? How do i help her View attachment 3049300
The white hen definitely looks like she had rooster damage, to me. Those feathers may take a while to grow back - maybe not until she molts again.A narrative? Hmmm, the white hen has been like this for a couple months. It has not gotten worse nor better since we found a new home for the roosters.

A month ago we found a new home for the roosters. But the damage to the bird were present before we got rid of the roosters.Have you checked for parasites? Look under the wings and vent area. I use a flashlight and a magnifying glass.(old age). Do you have a rooster? Or they could be fighting has there been any changes to the coop or run or have there been any additional birds added or subtracted? You can always grab some poultry dust just to make sure and put on them.
