2 Of my hens have lost a lot of feathers over the past week, the rooster is a bit rough and is leaving tomorrow, is it him or do I need to get something for them ? I am really concerned 😟

The bottom hen looks like molting. The top hen may be molting and the rooster.
A higher protein food will help. Like a feather fixer

They loss that many feathers in the fall?😳 my family had chickens in tx when I was little, I got these chickens last year and the chickens first winter was when they were young so I had a heat lamp on them so I haven't seen them do a full time molt yet. So I wasn't sure what to expect.

Yes. My Orpington hen is finishing her molt and she did a full molt so she lost a ton of feathers. You could see her skin.
Your girls are healthy, molts are normal.
Most young pullets/hens dont molt fully first years
