Molting question.........

I have 6 mix breed hens ranging from 1.5-2.5 years old. Of the 6 only 1 hen molts each year. She is one of the 2.5 y.o. ones. Question: Do ALL hens molt each year?

I have some younger girls who molted so gently I barely noticed, and the older girls are looking very pitiful.

weather also plays a part, I think - warm and wet seems to bring on a harder molt here on our farm.
