Molting turkey

I have a turkey that keeps losing her feathers. Their everywhere. Could the summer heat cause her to lose them? What could cause that? Please help!!

If your turkey is about a year old it would be shedding it feathers. But if its a young turkey it maybe hot. It may also have mites. Sometime with mites birds will pull there feathers out.

Its been hot in mo.

Several of my adult birds are going thru a molt now. Egg laying is done.

My toms look pathetic.. maybe just a couple of tail feathers left. Breast feathers were gone fence fighting. But are coming back.

Deadly hot in Memphis too. All my chickens are in molt. However the two turkey hens are laying daily. Feedman....I'm from mo. What part of the state are you in?
