Molting?

So I bought 10 black sex links about a week ago. When I got them the owner told me they were molting. Is it the time of the year that they might be? It kind of looks like they have been plucking feathers. I will go and take some pics tomorrow as it is 2am right now lol

But, yes it is time they could be molting. If you see pins coming in the ares they are losing feathers then it would be molting.

There's also a possibility of molting and feather picking at the same time.

Just be sure to examine them well to rule out mites/lice.
