I thought our chicken was on its way out. Her sister never lost a feather. So if your chicken looks like this, be comforted that in a month or so she will look like this.

When did your girls start molting? We picked up a flock second hand and were told they had just finished molting but one of my girls seems to still be losing feathers ...

The molting picture was taken on November 19. I remember being worried about her being cold for the winter!
