Molting?

Hello! Our usually soft and fluffy Buff Orpington named Sunny has been losing feathers and we are wondering if she is molting or if there is another problem. Her usually floppy comb has also shrank and is paler. It isn't happening to any of our other chickens. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you!

Looks like new feathers coming in...probably molt.
How old is she?
Are you seeing a bunch of feathers lying around?
See any pin feathers coming in?

Thank you for your reply! Sunny is 9 months old, and her feathers are lying around. Pin feathers are coming in as well.

Chickens go thru 3 juvenile molts between hatch and about 5-6 months old.
The first 'adult' molt happens their second fall, at about 18 months-give or take a few.
Tho some pullets will have a partial molt their first fall/winter.
