Molting?

Do adult ducks have a full molt twice a year, unlike adult chickens who only molt once a year??

I think some species molt their body feathers twice a year and wing feathers are molted just once a year.

I’ve got one finishing up her molt, one mid-molt, and one who wants to wait a bit longer . Last year, my late molter timed it horribly and molted just before our first serious cold snap (temps down to zero degrees Fahrenheit). She was not a happy girl, but she was ok. She grew her new feathers in extremely quickly!
