Molting??

Of our 11 hens, our only two Silver Laced Polish are, I believe, molting. Do you agree? They both have these bald spots on their backs. New feathers start coming in, then I'm not sure what happens. I see them scratching....possibly pulling the new growth out. They been like this for about 2 months. No bugs found. No issues with our Leghorns or Cinnamon Queens.

I would guess that they are being feather pecked/plucked by one or more flock mates.

I hadn't noticed this, but will have to watch more closely. I know the SL Polish are at the bottom of the pecking order always have been (cutting their "hair" back helped). Thanks!
