Molting

This is my 2nd fall with chickens but first fall with them molting. I have a crossbeak that is super sweet and usually comes running for food. Shes not interested in eating. She recently started a hard molt could this be the cause?

Definitely! They don't want to be bothered while they are molting and will stay away from you as well as other chickens.
