molting?

Hi,

I was cleaning out my pheasant pen the other day and noticed a lot of feathers that my pair of ringneck pheasant's had shed, with straw i had put in there. Is it molting season or is this not normal?

Same with mine - feathers everywhere but they are young and the cocks are getting their true colours and my 50 muscovy ducks are shedding so it looks like we had a snowfall around here
