Molting??

I have a chicken that appears to be molting - but only on her rear. Her pink skin is showing now and feathers are all over the coop.

All my other chickens molted several months ago. Is is normal that she is molting now? I thought they molted in the fall/winter... She looks pitiful

I have noticed another of my chickens with the same type rear end.... We only have a bantam rooster so I don't think he'd be doing much. feathers from both chickens are on the ground so I'm guessing it's molting.
