A
trimmed down version (minus the medicine stuff) was sent to me and to this day I still toy with the idea of doing this. I bet I'd get a Mother of the Year award! Or just a lot of stares.

Yeah, I wish I could find the trimmed down version - a lot of my friends saw the first few seconds and bailed out before watching the good part - thinking that I had sent them a wrong link.

I am almost embarrassed to admit this now but I have a very stubborn emotional 8 year old and when she was about 5 she was whining and whining and whining and tantrumming and I had enough. We were at home and I did that exact same thing except the meds (of course) and she was stunned. She asked do I really look like that and I said yep. That shut her up!

Oh I know there isn't a mother alive who hasn't wanted to do that at least once in the first 18yrs of their children's lives... My brother used to laugh at me because I would tell mine....'go ahead, show your behind, then I am going to spank it..." and they would stop in mid action and I would say " dry those tears, no crying' and they would wipe their faces.... He thought it was sooooo funny....at the time he didn't have kids.....At the age of 39 he had his first and he did the: "I am going to count to 3. One, two--you better stop, do you hear me? I am counting one, two, I mean it, stop, now...One two ---etc... When his oldest was four.... we were at my parents for Christmas--we had listened to this for two days and my brother was doing his " counting'---"I am going to count to three-----AND my youngest (two yrs old at the time)---SCREAMED "ONE< TWO< THREE" so loud and so fast that it caught everyone by surprise and my dad fell from the sofa to the floor laughing..... NEVER again did we hear the 'Counting'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have thrown down in my living room when the kids threw a fit. it's awesome how fast they stop.

also, if the kids were rude or yelling in the car, i would just keep turning the radio up. they just stop because there is no attention to them.

works like butter on toast!
