Momma disposed of her own egg =( normal?

I'm guessing this is perfectly normal but i posted in another post about how she had 1 cracked a little, not a pip...i think she squashed it

and we came back later...yep...no shell, little remnants of meat and a few black baby feathers EWWWW...did she just do what nature expected of her? GAH...so she knew it was cracked and baby dead? now i'm worried about the other eggs but she's such a sweet girl! this is NORMAL!?

Completely normal and in no way means that she'll eat the rest of them.

thanks...i was pretty sure of it but it still fascinates me...thank GOODness i saw the before and after and not the during.
