Momma ducks keep killing her babies

I don't have an incubator, so I've just been keeping an eye out from a distance, if we hear them start squawing we will go check and if they are after a new baby we scoop it up and bring it in.
There's several fairly cheap diy incubator ideas online. Might be something to look into just to get them out of danger sooner than later. That has to be a horrific scene to watch.

I would put them in an incubator, keeping them with the mamas could be dangerous for them! I don’t now why she is attracting them like that though. Wishing you the best of luck

I made one out of a box, and heating pad with a thermometer, 4 out of the 13 still haven't hatched and I can't hear any pips, or feel any movement. I don't know if they were already not viable when I brought them in, or If I did something wrong. The whole situation has been a stressful mess. But we do have 8 happy little ducklings.
