That actually just looks like broody poop to me. Hens store a lot of poop when they're broody because they shouldn't get up every hour or so just to poop. The result is a single, very messy, smelly poop that's been collected over the course of the day. She should go back to normal fairly soon.View attachment 1380757 I went out to check and she pooped again. I’ll post a picture. First one exploded out and hit the side of the trough with a splat. I soaked it with pine shavings and just scooped this one out too. Could it be the chick food and egg yoke on top of her being broody and not eating much the last month?
