Momma Silkie Questions?

So we have three hens an easter egger, a rhodie and a silkie. Our Silkie is quite broody and spends all her time sitting on nothing in her box. We would like some new chicks, do you think we could try giving her a fertilized egg? I'm fine if it doesn't hatch but it might make her happy for the time being...

Oh, yes! Give her some fertile eggs! I'd put no less than three under her if you have room in your coop for them.

If I give her some what's the probability of them hatching? Also will they be healthy and will my Silkie not like me anymore after they hatch?

p.s. Would the chicks grow up and be afraid of me for their whole lives if they are mothered by the silkie as opposed to humans (like we normally do)

After she hatches them you can take them and raise them if you want. If you want them tame down you will just have to work with them as they grow with her
