Mon Copain

Saw this picture on pintrest and fell in love with this breed... it said "Mon Copain" does anyone know if that is the correct name and where I can find some chicks or young birds? thanks

Mon copain means 'my friend' in French. So that's not the breed.

First thing that comes to mind is a Brown Leghorn.

That bird has a horrible, horrible case of scaly mites on it's legs. Poor thing.

I agree - that poor, poor bird. How could they have a gorgeous bird like that and ignore his horribly scaly legs and feet? Don't think I've ever seen worse one's in a photo. That is surely bird abuse

Wow u guys are great to point that out ... I only have gunieas right now but we have decided to build out our coop for chickens.
