Monarch , they are hatching!!!!

So I'm in the middle of packing and kind of forgot I was incubating some quail eggs that I got from Monarch. We werent sure they would hatch because they took a little longer to get here because of UPS problems. But I just got home tonight and heard peeping.. went over and looked and there was two babies... definitely from Monarch's eggs ! I only added 3 of my own eggs and none of them have hatched yet. One even looks to have a reddish tint although it's not from one of the marked red eggs. Sorry all I have is my cell phone so this is the best I can do for now....

The one near the bottom is the one that looks reddish

awhh!!! Nancy! I'm so happy to hear htat some are hatching!!!!

!!! the one at the bottom looks like a "rosetta" very beautiful little babies, well it's either a rosetta or a Golden Range both look very simliar at hatching but mature and look very different (both pretty)

And ofcourse thats a brown up top.... should mature to be a chunky

Keep an eye on those browns wing tips if they look white/yellow you've got the "new" variety that really isn't around much it's in the UK but I don't know anyone else with it here in the US. I'm sure it is here in the US but im the only one yipping about it

They did hatch on day 15 though so they were early .

one more! I'm moving Sunday so hopefully they will be all hatched by then!

One's really dark and two look reddish... I wish the new camera charger I ordered would come so I could take some digital pics again!!!! I always forget how little and cute they are

24 so far, 23 are your's Monarch! The two marked "Red " have hatched... I have no idea which ones they are though LOL But I definitely see red ... I got my new battery charger for my camera so I'll post pics soon!
