mongoose problem . HELP!!

I have a mongoose problem! 1-4 of them just started coming. I keep things really clean... so I don't think its the problem. Luckily, I didn't lose any chickens

We don't have mongoose (mongooses? mongeese?) in MN. All I can say is, make sure your coop and run are secure. Can you legally trap and shoot or dispose of them some other way?

Just Googled mongoose for a picture. They look like hungry sharp-toothed little monsters. Yeah, I think the traps are a good idea.

They are!! Mongooses are the only problem with hawaii! LOL!

Make sure you have your coop/run secure with either hardware cloth or something similar so they can't get in.
Do you have an animal control officer that could help you with the traps and disposal?
I've never heard of a mongoose problem til yours....there goes all my childhood memories of the sweet Riki Tiki Tavi!

My Brother in law catches them with a cat trap and a blown egg!
Hopefully we catch them.

I've had chickens as a kid and never had any mongoose problems haha.. The time they wanna bother us is during my birthday! Must be some bad luck birthday mojo

I am going to PM you I know a guy who was trapping feral Hogs in HI I think he ran into mongoose as well
