I think it's amazing how they can claim that
"We do not have a commercial corn business in Haiti. Our goal is to help build a sustainable agriculture system to benefit the people of Haiti."
What do they know about sustainable agriculture? I'm very proud of the Haitian people for standing up to the giant companies in terms of their native/local veggie varieties--much of the rest of the world has just bowed to the pressure of the huge agribusinesses.
(Note that this was taken from "Catholic News Service"...I was intrigued that a religious site would cover something like this. Food for thought...no pun intended
