There was a Monster Quest marathon yesterday on the history channel and I had a friend over who was watching a few of the episodes. Normally I like that kind of stuff, but I found the show to be extremely frustrating! The first episode was interesting, but as the shows went on, I noticed they would jump to the most unlikely conclusions. Also, they would never actually find any conclusive evidence in any of the shows. I was watching one about giants bears last night and at the end they just said that basically they found no evidence of anything but large brown and grizzly bears.

There was an interesting one about African killer bees, but that was the only one where they actually found evidence to support their theories. Anyone else watch this show? What do you think about it?

I feel the same way when I watch Monsterquest. They seem to want to sensationalize the "danger" of whatever they are investigating and never resolve anything. They start out with the suggestion of an investigation, and then they examine evidence that a 6year old would know is NOT a chupacabra or a werewolf or whatever. And you are right, they make wild accusations and speculations with no evidence to back it up.

I agree with Alan. I've seen monsters. I have evidence. I work in an ER- Two weekends in a row we flew CHILDREN to the University clinging to life from injuries sustained at the hands of abusive caretakers. Those people are the real monsters.

Have you guys seen the one about the weird tiny alien thing they found in Mexico? Apparently someone found it in a trap and drowned it in water. DNA tests on the carcass show it has no known matches. That thing is crazy!!

I think that MonsterQuest is fun entertainment, nothing more. Park your brain at the door and enjoy the show. Sometimes popcorn entertainment is enjoyable.

I downloaded a bunch of them before we moved to the country/dial up and got the bf to watch a few, the first one was not bad, I cant remember what it was about, but the rest were pretty darn bad. They go over every detail again and again. The show should be 30 minutes long, that's for sure.

I like watching it for entertainment but as far as evidence goes, Monsterquest frustrates me more often than not.

Stay tuned next week! We will find no monsters, just bring you up to date information on local legends..

This show is a zzzzzzzzzzzzz..
When they start finding REAL monsters then I shall watch.

And just something about that guy urkes me. Everytime he does GH live I dont like watching.. Its like hes SO into himself
