Hello...

I live in Victor, MT and am looking for anyone who is breeding silver laced wyandottes. There is a swedish flower hen breeder in my area and also some white bresse, buckeye, brahma and rir, but, unfortunately, no slw.

I am going to get some of the sfh's and I desperately want some slw's to finish out my flock. I would really like to get quality pullets as I would like to get a roo down the line and raise a few babies for replacement and to hopefully get some into the show pen. The sfh's are from quality stock so I don't have to worry there.

I would also love to have a few silkies and/or showgirls because I keep reading on here and other places how broody they can get. I cant afford an incubator right now so I figured I'd grow my own LOL

If anyone can help please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,
Jodi

Did you check in the Montana thread?

Silver Laced Wyandottes are one of my favorite breeds. One of these days I might try to order some from Horstman's Poultry or elsewhere.

Right now I have an incubator and a broody and no eggs for either!

popsicle,

I wil definitely check out the Montana thread. I live in Victor and there is a couple people in the area who are offering eggs for hatching. I'm not sure right off the top of my head but, I will find the phone numbers and such for you if you would like.

Thank you for the information. I am supposed to have my coop done in a couple weeks and am getting ready to order chicks in the next couple days. Would much prefer they come locally than from far away.

Sincerely,
Jodi
