We got a bit of that 4-letter S word, too~ Right after I got Barbie loaded to go to her new home, it started dumping. We have 4-6 inches out there depending on the spot now.

Really, really glad I didn't transplant my garden starts!! Those are my raised beds.

Also- does this mean the one on top is a drake? -.- Would explain my only getting 1 egg/day now that Ducky's brooding...

Reptile Mom, glad you like your girls, they were talking the whole way down to Billings, I thought it was cute. They are real sweeties.
Karla, hope your girls are doing OK, its a big change for them so it may take them a bit to come out on their own. You should have 1 or 2 Black Ameraucana, the rest are mixed, they came out of green, blue, olive, or dark Marans eggs. They should lay green or olive eggs. The one could be pure Black Copper Marans, but most likley a mix.
RoyalT, you should have good fertile duck eggs, the 1st time I saw that I thought the drake was trying to drown the duck.
I got about 6 inches of that white four letter S word to, I am so over winter and way ready for spring. When I went to work this morning and pulled out on to the highway, I stepped on the gas lightly and the car did a full 180 in the middle of the road. I was so glad there were no cars comming.

Well that Blue Fawn was supposed to be a duck, not a drake >.< dangit.

Well my Shetland ewe had twin lambs today! They're moorit like the mom and dad, but they are born dark like that :)

Both are awesome at seeking milk! (way better than my goats I had)

The little ewe lamb was cold so she warmed up a bit in the chick brooder. The chicks think she's "Lamb-zilla"

DH really likes the Ram lamb. He has a little white spot on his head, too :)

Well, those little lambs are just too cute. The guy I got my heifer from had some kind of sheep that were lambing when I got the heifer, and there was one that wasn't any bigger than a little toy poodle that I was carrying around with me. He was trying to give it to me, but the last thing I need is another kind of animal. Now if it would have been a goat I might have thought about it, not that I need one of them either.

Azriel,
The girls are so sweet! They just talk to me quietly whenever I am around. I can hear them quietly talking in their cage when I am not near them, just cute as can be. Good behaved. Thanks again for selling them to me!

just as long as one of them does the blue eggs, after that's why we wanted an ameracauna lol. They were out today, but the coop is ticking me off to no end. It's not what I want in a coop, it's big but no way to get not to clean etc. the guy made the door to small and the nst box does not even open all the way, it's the craps and now I have to pay to get it dne right ... Again! Argh ! I am about to scream, the stupid opo door scares the girls when it's opened. To loud, the back door to small, the nest box, the whole dam thing is stupidly made.
My broody mama is doing wonderful with the chicks, 2 have long tails already and 4 do not, wondering if there males ( the ones with out the tails) the other broody got off her eggs today to poo and tried to put the chicks under wings. It was so cute. She truly has the mama loving to want to take on 12 day old chicks!

. Those are the sweetest little babies I ever seen. Awwww so cute with the hubby. Adorable !

Yeah I got my hubby to hold the boy- figured it was fitting. He LOVES the sheep compared to the goats we used to have. He's quite taken with these little babies :)

My Shetland hasn't really gotten much milk in. The little ram is so incessantly chasing her that he's getting enough milk, but the little ewe lamb isn't, so I'm bottle feeding her. She's really sweet. Got some Probios into her and 2 great feedings this evening. She's a fighter! If it were my goats, she'd be dead >.<

Azriel- I got a little reddish chick out of those little mixed eggs, too! I'm so glad to have a piece of Cal to keep :)

Think the middle one (5.5 week old Buff Orpington) is a Roo? Kind of looking like that to me! Black Australorpe and Gray Barred Rock buddies on either side, hopefully future girlfriends!
