morning girls ! nice to meet you lady turkey! we got snow, 3 or 4 inches today, nice change but my chickens refused to come out into there pen today; funny since the pen is totally dry LOL, no snow in it and yet they still wanted nothing to do with coming out. I will be sending out oatmeal to them in a while, make them nice and warm inside.

I'm back.
Got my new computor so I am up and running again.
Fired up my heat lamp today.
Not much snow here. guessing we only got around a half inch. It has pretty much melted too.

Cold Alert!!!!!

A Snowy owl was spotted this afternoon. You know what that means. Cold Temps!!!!

Hi, just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm very thankfull for the nice weather we've had for the last couple of days, and the nice weather that will be here for the next week or so. The girls are happy the snow is gone and they can go out and free range again. (They are also thankfull I didn't eat them for Thanksgiving)

Hi girls! Yep it's been nice, girls are put of the pen again and snacking on grass. Day was hectic, can not wait until tomorrow. Daughter is out doing the black Friday shopping tonight I'm thrilled as I'm tired of doing it all my self every year. Just getting the cool basics this year, bedspreads, and lots of jeans for the boys. Hope your all having a good day, do not over stress. Be blessed

Ready for the snow they are predicting this week?

I got a huge headache this morning so I know something is coming down on us.

Hey anyone interested I have three Red Frizzle Cochin x Mille Fleur D'uccle roosters, and seven either Mille Fleur D'uccle x Red Frizzle Cochin cross or the opposite.. I live here in Absarokee. The roosters are related to the hen so they would need to be separated from the pullets. They are just a month old so they would still need to be inside. Just let me know thanks

My hen went broody again, I will be looking for fertilized eggs by February if anyone has bared rock or sex link eggs to sell. I'm also looking for a new coop to hold at least 10 chickens comfortably. Any help would be appreciated!
