Hi All, Who else is loving this weather. The end of Dec and its still 50. Just hang on to your hats, or we'll all get blowin to ND.

Suppose to keep blowing for quite awhile.
My birds are smarter then me, they hide behind a couple buildings instead of walking out in the wind.

That 50 degree stuff is awfully handy. It was nice not having to thaw hoses on Christmas morning; a little "Merry Christmas" from the Creator. The wind is really starting to cause troubles, though, I'm no big fan of THAT particular weather behavior.

My birds must not mind though because they are popping out eggs like it's the beginning of summer! Way to go girls.

Hi everyone! Seems like forever since I was on here! With hubby away at school I just haven't had the time but he gets to take some of his classes at the college here next semester so at least I don't have to be a single mom Chickens are doing great, my ducks are now laying as well and the eggs are quite tasty. Turns out the babies my broody hatched are 7 rooster out of 9.....so now that they are big enough they will be going in the stew pot.

those are a couple of huge fires burning.
A friends fire department has been put on notice.

Just found it howcsad and scary. Prayers to those that way. Hard to believe this is going on in winter. Brace your selves folks we are pretty dry here to.
