Montana

Lol live and learn right. I had week olds right now with mama and another broody with a new chick born today. Mama is doing wonderful with her 6 chicks, and the other mama will be up and around I'm sure in a day or so with her chicks. I plan on giving all the chicks by 2 to a good home with a gal who is set up in a giant coop with heat lamps etc. I'm trying to distinguish girls and then giving the rest away, it may take me a month or so.
I'm covering the pen tonight with plastic, it's just gong to be to cold for these baby's in the wind and cold. My pen has a roof, so just taking plastic all the way around and stapling it on. Should hold up well. If not I UAE tarps to put around it. Glad my pen is not super giant now lol. 12x17 is big enough
