Montezuma quail

Hello! I am looking to buy fertilized means quail, probably buying 5, but I can’t find anyone selling them without selling 10 at a time? Does anyone know a seller that does this? Also, what incubator should I use, I heard the hatch rate is low so I want to get it right.

You're probably not going to be able to find someone selling the smaller quantities unless you find someone local. Remember, with shipped eggs, a 50% or less hatch rate is pretty normal.

I really like Borotto as a brand, but they're not cheap. No matter which incubator you get, make sure to put a calibrated thermometer or three in there along with a salt tested hygrometer. Incubators lie.

What humidity and temperature is recommended for montezuma

Temperature will be 99.5 F. Humidity, I'm not sure on. Coturnix like around 30% during incubation and up to 50-60% at lockdown, while buttons like around 50% humidity during incubation and up to 60-70% at lockdown.

I'm going to guess based on habitat, that the montezuma quail would prefer the lower humidity, but, for emphasis, that's just a guess.

Mearns quail are extremely hard to raise, they are in the "expert aviaist" catagory!!!!

They are also extremely expensive, eggs or adults. And as @Nabiki , has said, not likely going to find anyone willing to sell just 5 eggs, if they sell any eggs at all.
