Month old silkies

My silkies from performance poultry are roughly a month old now and I thought I'd post an update.
They are all doing well and there was only one dead chick out of 52, that's not too bad.
I did have a question though, do they look like full breed silkies?
Some look like silkies but some dont.
Some old guy told they werent full breed.
I've also noticed that the white silkies are turning grey/blue.

They look like Silkies to me, just in an awkard stage of feathering out. Good luck, wow you have 50? Silkies? I am so jealous. HenZ

They all look like pure Silkies to me. The poster above is right; at a month old, they look a little awkward but that will change. They do have alot of filling in to do.

As for the whites turning color, they might be Splashes.

and mine look like that, and they're full breed and the same age
they're just feathering out, hun

They are purebred Silkies in their "funky" stage. The white are most likely splash and or possibly lavender but more likely splash. Hope this helps.

Mine are exactly one month old today and they are looking strange - they are starting to shed feathers and develop their adult plumage and they are very much like the Silkies in the pics you posted - not that they look wierd - they are just at an awkward stage - yours are soooooo lovely and what amazing colours!!! Mine are all white - boring compared to the brilliant colours of yours!
