Mopey hen

I know there's probably plenty of threads that are discussing the same thing but each one is a bit different from my problem, I have a hen that's 5 years old and has recently been acting mopey, her tail is tucked down and she'll randomly just plop down on the floor; she continues to eat and drink like normal but just doesn't seem to be acting like her normal cocky self.

Is she still is laying?

I would try vitamin water, like Nutra Drench or Poultry Cell.

Also, I'd alternate a day or two with some probiotic water in case there's something up with her crop or gut flora.

IMO, a 5 year old chicken is an old chicken. It might be getting close to her time.
