Hi. I was just wondering how I can introduce a new duck to the 2I already have. Should it be the same age? My little lady is really getting her feathers pulled out with all of his attempts to mate. I thought another girl would be a good idea. Seems I need your help once again.

I was wondering that too but it was kind of confusing okay it is 2 ducks she already has? Boy I read that wrong Ok get at least 2-3 more females better ratio is at least 3 an up females to each drake same age or older.

I would find a female that is as large as or larger than your drake if possible. I feel that age isn't a huge issue as long as she is full grown and not a duckling.

Thanks for your help . Now I have found that I can't find anywhere to get an Adult female. I keep finding that I can get ducklings or eggs but no adults. anyone have any ideas where I can find one. I am in the far Northeast of PA. Close to the New York Border.

Have you searched the farm and garden section of your local craigslist? That's where I have the best luck finding adult birds in my area.
