I just came across these in the new strombergs catalogue and it doesnt say much about them "Large Sized Utility Breed, Breeds quickly, great parents, Large squab.

anyone have any pics or more information on this breed. any other sourced besides strombergs?

yes they are a utility breed specifically for eating, correct. I thought they were exceptionally good looking for a utility breed and would like to find a couple but strombergs has them at a pair for $180 +$80 s&h and thats not going to cut it lol
They are beautiful! I think that's not unusual for utility birds to be more expensive, they are supposed to be excellent parents and able to produce more clutches per year that flying birds. Investing in good breeding stock should have you in production quickly. Too expensive for me tho also.:D
