I came across this site when looking for some names on google for our new hen. We was giving Brewster a few months ago. We have no organization or nothing, but me & my daughter has ALWAYS been animal lovers!! OF ALL NATURES!!
We would have every kind of critter around if it was ever possible!! And the people that know us know our passion for animals & thats kinda where our story begins..lol!
Me & my daughter are 2 people that hate seeing any kind of animal suffer or hurt or know of any that have no shelter or been abused or neglected..if we see an animal on side of road, we are pulling over & getting it out of road & not leaving til we know they are safe & leave them some water & food to keep them occupied from road. But 9 out of 10 times, if the animal isnt too scared or aggressive, we will load them up, go door 2 door until we have knocked on every door looking for owner of the animal..if we feel thats not safe for us or the animal, we snap pics & will still go to every door looking for an owner. And there are even times that 1 of us will get a call or something of someone asking us if we can take in pet cause they cnt care for the animal no more & have been told that we were who they would want to adopt their pet. We get SO attatched and there has been MANY times those animals chose us & we still have to this day. Actually, every animal we have at moment are ones that were neglected & brought to us to to find them a happy forever home..
Our 1st family dog is our 1st rescue! He was 3 mnths old when my daughter brought him home, asking if we could take care of him til she could find him a home. The people who had him said he looked like a stupid dog and was too clumsy and that they wanted something diff. And he was already HUGE. So we brought him in..and 4 yrs later, hes still the BEST dog our family could ever ask for! Hes a Catahoula Sheppard. Weighs well over 120-130(maybe more) lbs, but thinks hes the size of a chiuahuah..lol!! His name is Mudd (Muddy Waters). I will post pics of all our lil fur babies..wit their names & all..but thats how Brewster & this sweet new hen became part of our family is from people who got them & then decided they didnt wnt them..we never shut our door on an animal..we have to know that it at least got a chance in its life to know what it feels like to be loved..and thats when our home becomes their home because if an animals gives you love in return, you become their humans. Our babies are so loyal & love more than any human ive ever known and our home wouldnt be a home if it wasnt for them..they are not our pets with occassional petting here or there. THEY ALL ARE OUR FAMILY!!
I could go on & on about them but Im just going to start going through all pics i can find & just show off ones we can find pics of. And will soon b adding some of Brewster & him some play dates soon!!
Ty guys thats read this post..(and its not even the start of all our resues & ones we were able to brighten the lives of other families with an animal we rescued & found homes for!!
