The bravest little pony in the world had an interesting day today. First he had a very excellent brushing session, until he looked very handsome. Some ponies get their forelock and mane braided, because their manes and forelocks are so thick that you can't find where to put the bridle otherwise. Then he had his little tiny bell boots put on - classic gum pull ons, and his black boots and his black harness. With all this, he meets the definition of 'Sharp Dressed Man'. He pulled his cart around the ring with just me leading him and no assistant to steady the cart or prevent it from bumping about, traces attached. Several circles and turns without the harness or shafts causing any concern. Phase Five is about to start, after we lead him with the cart outdoors for a while. Phase Six would be my SO sitting in the cart, I'll continue to lead the pony. Phase Seven is I will go back and review me driving him from directly behind him, without the cart, so we review whoa, giddy up and turning via the lines. Phase Eight - I drive the cart. Phase Eight is what I'm dying to do.
